The GOHNET Foundation Uganda is an indigenous Non – Governmental Organization (NGO) of vulnerable and marginalized vulnerable women, Youth, Teenagers and Children. GOHNET Foundation brings together the women, Youth, Teenagers and children whose fundamental rights have been violated economically, socially and psychologically. It was founded in 2020 and later incorporated as a company limited by guarantee on 12th , September 2023.

We are dedicated to addressing pressing issues such as food insecurity, inadequate healthcare, limited access to education as well as responding to emergencies and relief in commmunities we serve.

GOHNET Foundation exists to create an equalized and unified ground for mechanisms to support small scale businesses, practical skills Development, promotion and strengthening of family centered health through integrated preventive approach, mobilizing and offering Scholarships /bursaries to school going children and educational savings and credit programs.

GOHNET Foundation advances equality to improve health rights, welfare and opportunity involvement and participation of the vulnerable and marginalized into development initiatives.This is through its interventions of supporting ending cultures of violence, protection of rights, strengthening Community accountability and eliminate impunity for sexual violence; empowering and supporting groups in their programming, advocacy and outreaches in preventing diseases, violence against women, teenagers and children; enhancing empowerment through smart agricultural skills, experiences and knowledge on production and productivity, post-harvest handling and agro processing to promote productivity enhancement,including improved yield varieties; initiating finance enforcement, economic empowerment, social psychological through mind set change, reproductive health rights and welfare, through community-based approaches and climatic adaptation.

GOHNET Foundation Uganda is dedicated to finding solutions to children education more especially the girl child, their health rights and other problems that affect children in families.

GOHNET Foundation operates in Kampala, Wakiso, Manafwa, Namisindwa, Bududa, Sironko, Mbale City, Bulambuli, Mbale, Busia and Tororo Districts respectively.

GOHNET Foundation Uganda is however not restricting its operation in the above districts only; it aims at widening its scope of work to other districts following the successful establishment of its base operation.

To enhance and empower vulnerable Women, Teenagers and Children in actions that enablethem live to their full potential, rights and aspirations in Kampala , Wakiso,
Manafwa, Bududa, Mbale , Namisidwa, Sir0nko , Bulambuli , Mbale city, Tororo and
Busia Districts.

To increasedunderstanding of their role and responsibilities to participate in the
development processes as a way of ensuring social equality and unification.

To strengthen and Empower women and teenagers’ capacities to address poverty through sustainablelivelihood skills and experience, increased productivity, generating surpluses
and access to effective participation in knowledge to socially resolve tensions
disharmonious to development;

To strengthen communities’ capacitiesto increasedairy production productivity; decreased seasonality;farmer income and establishing it as a profession of choice for Women and
Teenagers.

To improve dairy / beef farmers income throughestablishment of hub that provide animal health services.

To advocate and worktowards promoting production system that respects the obligation to preserve
the ecological basis for development;

To empower and strengthen capacities ofwomen and teenager’s through promotion of adequacy and sustainableaccess to income and resources that meet basic needs such as food, water,
health facilities, educational opportunities, housing.

To promote and worktowards primary health care through education on health problems and how to
prevent and control them. Development of effective food supply and proper
nutrition. Maternal and child healthcare, including family planning.

To empower and work towards reducing extreme poverty, foodinsecurity, through animal and Crop Productivity Enhancement, Post-harvest& Agro-processing and Public-Private Partnership & Market Access.

To work towards reducedwomen transaction costs, build entrepreneurial capacity on a commercially
viable and sustainable basis.

To providesdirect assistance for displaced populations including refugees, asylum seekers,and internally displaced people and vulnerable host communities. As they try to feed their families and find a safeplace to live, and work to improve livelihoods opportunities for long-term
economic wellbeing.

Ensure that displacedpopulations including refugees, asylum seekers, and internally displaced people
and vulnerable host communities canbecome self-sufficient by engaging in safe and decent work and by managing and
saving their resources .

Providing displacedpopulations including refugees, asylum seekers, and internally displaced people
and vulnerable host communities. With business-skillstraining for in-demand jobs and strengthening connections in local labor
markets so that prospective employers can more easily find employees with the
skills they need;

Encouraging displacedpopulations including refugees, asylum seekers, and internally displaced people
and vulnerable host communities with newentrepreneurs and helping local businesses to grow through mentorship,
financial management training, technical support and access to grants.

To increase access ofinformation of women, Teenagers and children rights for ensuring accountable
transparent community.

To work towards strengthening and advocating improved maternal health,access to HIV/AIDS services, Malaria, Sexually Transmitted Infections, Cancer
screening and treatment through BCC, VHT teams, lead mothers and health
workers.

To work towardspreventing gender-based violence especially through gender analysis, gender
awareness campaigns of zero tolerance of violence against women and children.

To advocate for and worktowards improved Water and Sanitation Hygiene (W.A.S.H) and training
facilities, especially on health hygiene behavior, utilization of water and
sanitation facilities, wash awareness campaigns inter alia.

To strengthen communities’ capacitiesto address factors on climatic change and environmental degradation and or cultural rightsprotection of Uganda communities especially in rural areas inter alia.

To advocate for and worktowards increased access to education through lobby for scholarships/
bursaries’ so that more teenager.
